CHOOSING A PHOTOGRAPHER

Before we begin this chapter, I want you to know that this is 100% about you doing your wedding your way. I want you to be happy with your decision and really enjoy this experience.

LET’S CONNECT

You like my work, awesome!

Let’s meet up and chat wedding plans, pets and drink some coffee (or maybe a pint). You can tell me about you both as a couple and you can see what sort of human I am. Then you can decide if I’m the fun-loving, slightly mad, yet approachable face you want to see capturing your wedding memories. Once you’ve decided if we’re a good fit for each other, we will make it official and save your date in the diary!

  • HANG OUT
  • DECIDE IF WE VIBE
  • SAVE THE DATE

ADVICE

Ask me all the questions

From the moment we are in contact I am here to answer all your questions, please don’t be a stranger, I’m here to help. As many skypes and emails as you want. Then about a month before your big day, we’ll get together and go through your timeline and get your “must have” photographs locked in and get all the details ironed out. Your day will be totally care free because you know I’ve got you covered.

TRUST

I hate having my photo taken

You hate having your photo taken? Same. I do this weird half-smile face then I end up opening my mouth like I’m shouting, and most of my selfies look like I’m in shock?! A step towards overcoming this stress is to make sure your actually like the photographer as a person.
If you’re not someone who enjoys having a camera pointed at you, it helps massively if the photographer feels like someone you can hang out with, have a laugh, be yourself and actually chat to. You’ll probably feel more comfortable with a photographer who keeps things relaxed and goes with the flow of the day.

PRINT

Print your wedding photos

Remember going through your grans photo albums? That experience is a core memory for me. We had a whole suitcase full of my dad’s old photos and I used to drag it out, sit on the floor and ask about the people, the places, the stories behind those prints.
Picking up your album and sharing it with friends is a completely different experience to scrolling on a screen.
Your wedding photos deserve more than a quick scroll. They’re one of the few things from the day that actually lasts.
Hard drives fail. Phones get replaced. Galleries disappear.
But a printed photograph? That’s something you can hold, frame, flick through, and pass down.

HOW IT FEELS

For some people, being photographed can make them more aware of themselves even if nothing is said out loud. That awareness can pull focus away from what’s actually happening.
