Arnot Hill House Autumnal Micro Wedding

Christina and Paul’s micro wedding at Arnot Hill House was the perfect mix of relaxed, heartfelt, and a little bit spontaneous.

The Details

Arnot Hill House

If you’re planning a Nottingham wedding, Arnot Hill House is a venue that blends classic architecture with stunning parkland views.

A Relaxed Micro Wedding at Arnot Hill House

An intimate ceremony at Arnot Hill House

“Saying our vows and making our promise to each other.” was the most important part of the day for Christina and Paul, they picked beautiful music for the ceremony and made their promises with their families looking on, smiles all around. Once they were officially married, everyone gathered outside the main building for confetti, not once, but twice. The first burst of confetti filled the air at the back of the house, and the second happened in the stone archway in the park.

Double confetti and photos in the rose garden

The first confetti tunnel filled the air at the back of the house then we walked through the park to the rose gardens to get a couple of family photos. The second confetti moment happened in the stone archway in the park with lovely fluttery multicoloured confetti circles

Autumn wedding photos in Arnot Hill Park

With the autumnal equinox signaling the change of seasons, the leaves in the park were already falling from the trees. Christina loves this time of year so we made the most of the autumn colours. I had already spotted some areas of the park where the leaves covered the ground and knew they would make for a class background..

Rain and ice-cream your wedding day

We had sunshine and a couple of heavy showers that swept through during the afternoon, the kind of downpour most couples might hide from. Not these two. Christina and Paul embraced it completely, dancing on the front lawn. Once the rain cleared, the park emptied out, leaving us with Arnot Hill Park all to ourselves. We bought an ice-cream from the kiosk, a handy tip if you’re planning your own Arnot Hill micro wedding, the kiosk in the park only takes cash. If you want your memories to feel like this or you only want a couple of hours of your day photographed see if I am free for your date here.
