Beaumaris Castle Wedding

Tros Yr Afon a super chilled Anglesey wedding reception venue

Danielle began her day in the picturesque village of Beaumaris, while Owen and his groomsmen spent the morning at the reception venue, setting up their handcrafted decorations. The day started beautifully, with the sun shining and temperatures steadily rising from early morning.

Danielle’s father walked her down a rose petal-lined aisle, framed by a flower arch and surrounded by blooming rosebay willowherb. The historic ruin was filled with all their friends and family watching every moment of their beautiful humanist ceremony, highlighted by a heartfelt reading from one of Danielle’s close friends.

The reception is a short easy walk from the castle to the gardens of Tros Yr Afon where we captured some family portraits and the Flaming Gourmand’s unforgettable wedding BBQ.

Speeches, feasting and dancing. The atmosphere was lush and the celebrations went on into the night. Summer weddings are always so relaxed and fun, even during a heatwave. Danielle and Owens’ day was everything they wanted it to be.
