THE DEETS

Blakeley Lane Campsite

An eco friendly campsite set in the ancient Sherwood forest, only a couple of miles from the Major Oak.

A CLEARING IN THE WOODS PERFECT FOR A CEREMONY SURROUNDED BY NATURE.

From the moment we met and they told me of their plans to wed in the ancient forest, I knew it was going to be an incredible day.

The weather was perfect, family and friends had decorated the venue with hand painted signs and flowers. Jen’s dad walked her down the aisle to James patiently waiting by the arch decorated with more gorgeous flowers. They exhcanged vows and a few tears before walking back down the aisle together in a shower of confetti. The whole day was so chilled out and relaxed, except the bit where Jen put out a small haybale that had caught fire during the end of the ceremony. The celebrations were epic, heart warming speeches, lots of laughter, delicious food and limbo dancing into the night.

These photos tell the short story of an incredible Sherwood Forest Wedding.

JEN, JAMES, ALL YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS, THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR DAY AND TRUSTING ME TO CAPTURE THESE MOMENTS. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT X
