NATURAL AND CREATIVE NOTTINGHAM WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Ey up mi duck.

A city wedding in the heart of Nottingham offers a cool urban backdrop with plenty of freedom when it comes to city wedding venues. Whether you’re planning a city wedding at Nottingham Council House- or an intimate and relaxed micro wedding, if you’re looking for a unique and unusual venue for your wedding, nothing can beat the city. Nottingham has some great alternative venues to choose from, the beautiful Malt Cross Pub, Nottingham Contemporary Art Gallery, The Taproom at Liquid Light Brewery, The Canalhouse, The Dome at the eclectic Box Nottingham the list goes on.

You can tie the knot somewhere low key and chill then splash out and go for lunch or dinner to a super special restaurant. The recently opened Cleaver & Wake offers fine dining on the canal. Marrying in the city also makes transport so easy, if you stay in the centre it can be wonderful to walk to the ceremony and then to your reception afterwards. Being a Nottingham wedding photographer the walk between venues is something I adore. The movement, the architecture and the ever changing light offers so many opportunities for cool photos.

Your wedding isn’t a photo shoot – it’s about living in the moment with the people you love most.

CITY

Nottingham City Wedding

The Council House or City Hall of Nottingham is located in Old Market Square. Any Nottingham wedding photographer will tell you it’s known as one of Nottingham’s most iconic wedding venues. Perfect for intimate and larger ceremonies, with such a central location you can have your reception at any venue in the city.

If you wanted a bit of tradition, you can have your ceremony at the stunning St Mary’s Church, as Rosy and Tom did for their elegant city wedding.

  • STYLISH, ACCESSIBLE AND CONVENIENT
  • PERFECT FOR FOOD LOVERS
  • CHOICE OF STUNNING VENUES

In this wedding at the Nottingham Council House, everybody chilled out on the grand staircase and had a drink, which as a documentary wedding photographer was great fun to just catch in the moment. Click the link below to see some more.

MICRO

Intimate City Micro Wedding

The Registy Office at Arnot Hill House in Arnot Hill Park is perfect for intimate weddings with space for around 40 guests. It’s only 6 miles from the city centre, post ceremony you can go anywhere in the city to celebrate. Ralph and Claire went to The Blues Dawg on Mapperly top before heading out for food later.

  • BEAUTIFUL VICTORIAN VILLA
  • ORANGERY, PARK AND GARDENS
  • CLOSE TO CITY CENTRE

This wedding was the absolute dream for natural storytelling photography, a micro wedding with lots of laughing and relaxing in the park after, have a look at the link below to see some more from this fabulous day.

FOREST

Alternative City Wedding

A short drive outside the city centre is one of Nottinghams finest hideaways, Sherwood Glade. As a Nottingham wedding photographer it’s one of my favourite alternative venues. Relaxed, informal and surrounded by big old trees and dense woodland.

  • YOUR DAY YOUR WAY
  • GET READY IN THE CITY, CEREMONY IN THE WOODS
  • ANCIENT SHERWOOD FOREST

You live in the city but you were made for the woods, Sherwood Glade is the perfect venue for you. Really close to the city and you can style it however you wish, check out this stunning Morrocan styled wedding using the link below.
